I layered up in monochromatic shades of grey with a chunky snood, double layered sweater, and flannel baseball hat. I love the how the different textures of each grey piece add depth to an otherwise simple outfit.
I have been looking for a baseball hat that was more elevated than sporty but also going to keep my head warm. In comes this baby. I was finding cute versions online but they were upwards of what I wanted to spend. I popped into Bloomingdales in soho and found this gem for $35. I picked up the grey flannel with a light brown leather adjustable piece but she also comes in black and olive.
Knit Snood is old Portolano but love this and this etsy version
Layered Sweater, old Zara but love this for it high low length

This coat caught my eye the second I saw it. I don’t always gravitate to animal prints but its blue undertone and amazingly soft (faux) fur lured me in. I love it paired back to these monochromatic Supergas and layered over a clean cream colored sweater.

This skirt has been in my closet for about nine years, too big and unworn. I hadn’t thought to alter it until this season with houndstooth and tweeds surfacing on almost every runway (hello, Ralph Lauren). I finally took it to be altered and am so happy I did.
